Toronto – Promote discussion and training on Ceta, the Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Canada, which entered into force on September 21. ICCO will co-host this latest seminar installment on CETA in collaboration with Stikeman Elliott LLP, The City of Toronto and the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto. “CETA will eliminate over 90% of tariffs and trade barriers. It will facilitate free circulation of skilled labor and it will allow companies to bid for public tenders both in Canada and in Europe,” explains ICCO’s Executive Director Corrado Paina. “Our goal is to assist SMEs to succeed in this new business environment and take advantage of new investment and trade opportunities”.
