Amsterdam – The revenues from international activities of the FS Italiane Group (Italian Railway) have increased by 25%, one year after the presentation of the 2017-2026 Industrial Plan. This result confirms the alignment with the international development plans, one of the five pillars of the FS Strategic Document. In fact, the Industrial Plan doubled the share of revenues from overseas activities: from one billion to 4.2 at the end of the period and thus consolidating 26% in 2026 compared to 13% in 2016. In fact, the first estimates are about 1.4 billion (from 13% to 17%), thanks to acquisitions made in 2017 by c2c in Great Britain, Trainose in Greece and QBuzz in the Netherlands . This are the data that emerged during the conference “The internationalisation of the railway market: the challenges of the FS Group” as part of the 2017 edition of Expo Ferroviaria, in collaboration with the Italian Railway Engineers’ College (CIFI).
