Stockholm. Italy will be among the countries participating in the 2017 edition of the REX animation film festival in Stockholm, which opened yesterday, organised by Eunic, the network of European Cultural Institutes. The Italian Institute of Culture of Stockholm will present two short films produced by the European Design Institute of Milan, one independent and two from the Experimental Centre of Cinematography of Piedmont. The first screening will take place on October 12th with Massimo Ottoni’s ‘The Steinway’ projections, ‘Løvorphosis’ by Sara Irace and Roberto Grasso, and ‘Ossa’ (Bones) by Dario Imbrogno. On October 14th, ‘Azzurra and Midori’ by Elena Galofaro, Marta Giuliani, and Laura Piunti; ‘Humus’ by Simone Cirillo, Simone Di Rocco, Dario Livietti, and Alice Tagliapietra. On the occasion of the 17th Week of the Italian language in the World, the Italian directors Sara Irace and Roberto Grasso from the IED of Milan, authors of the short film Løvorphosis will be available for an encounter with the public on Friday October 13th (17:15 segment).
