Bormio. First victory of the season of “azzurro” alpine skiing. Branded success, Dominik Paris who triumphs in the downhill race on the Stelvio and climbs on the podium of a World Cup race for the 21st time in his career (with eight for downhill and one in supergiant). The second call to Bormio comes five years after the one in 2012, which gave him the first triumph in the cup – in which this time he did not have to share first place with Hannes Reichelt – but he pushed through for only 4 hundreths on Aksel Lund Svindal with a time of 1: 56.95. The Val d’Ultimo carabiniere was perfect in the initial and final stages of the slope, while in the cen-tral part he made some minor inaccuracies that did not however, cost him his final success. Third is another Norwegian, Kjetil Jansrud already winner this season of the Lake Louise SuperG. The Swiss Beat Feuz and Austrian Hannes Reichelt complete the top five. (9Colonne)
