Vaduz. “We are satisfied with the excellent level of bilateral relations, which are founded on sharing the same fundamental values and that we hope to be able to further improve in all fields. The entry into force of the Agreement on the exchange of information on tax issues between Italy and Liechtenstein, in December 2016, which ensures greater efficiency and an adequate level of transparency thanks to the end of banking secrecy, constitutes a reason for strong satisfaction” stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, following his meeting with his counterpart in Liechtenstein, Mrs. Aurelia Frick. During the meeting, in addition to bilateral relations, the issue of migration, the future of the European Union, Brexit, and bilateral collaboration in International Organisations – discussed in particular were the International Criminal Court and OSCE, which Italy presides this year.
