Siena – The international project “Joint Enterprise University Learning” (JEUL) to strengthen teaching and learning between Europe and Asia has officially started at the University of Siena. The JEUL project aims at a strong interaction between universities and companies to improve the relevance and applicability of university learning in the job market. The objectives of the project are to create a strong collaboration between universities and businesses to define academic curricula that will improve prospects of entry into the workforce. JEUL, which receives an EU funding of €935,000, involves European, Chinese, and Vietnamese universities under the coordination of the University of Siena; promoting a collaboration with companies.
