(2 aprile 2018) The concert of the “Armonici senza fili” choir from Monteveglio (Bologna), directed by Maestro Marco Cavazza, will be held on April 22nd at 18:00 in the concert hall of the Czech Music Museum (Prague). On the 150th anniversary of Gioachino Rossini’s death, the choir will perform his last great composition, the Petite Messe Solennelle for chamber choir, consisting of four solo voices, two pianos, and harmonium. The aim is to immerse the audience in the sound atmosphere created by Rossini for the premiere of the opera, held on March 14th, 1864 in the private chapel of the Count and Countess Pillet-Will in their residence in Passy, near Paris. The concert benefits from the support by the Italian Institute of Culture of Prague, the Emilia Romagna Region and the collaboration with the Czech Music Museum.
