Niamey. “Through the Italian cooperation network, we have provided aid to the population of Niger, which consists of health care and medicines that will arrive to Niamey via our Air Force”. This was announced yesterday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, who also added: “After accepting a request from Nigerian authorities a few weeks ago, today a humanitarian flight with a cargo of about 15 tonnes of medicine for the local population”.
