Tunis. The second edition of the Italian Business Oscar took place on 21 and 22 April in Tunisia – a gala event to promote and reward Italian entrepreneurship in Tunisia, promoted by the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy. Many local and Italian institutional presences, guests of the Italian Ambassador, Lorenzo Fanara and the President of CTICI, Mourad Fradi. In the weeks leading up to the event, a technical committee, made up of the Embassy, CTICI, ICE, UTICA, FIPA, and GPS, took charge of selecting Italian companies, which proved to be particularly deserving in terms of investments, commitment, and job creation. Five categories of Oscar are: Oscar for the Best Grand Project; Oscar for the Best Big Company; Oscar for the Best Small and Medium Business; Oscar for the “Impegno di Cuore” (Heartfelt Effort); and Oscar of Honour for Better Integration.
