(4 may 2018) Italian illustration has always been recognised in the world for its excellence and originality. This production is particularly appreciated by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, one of the most important fairs dedicated to books and illustration for the young public. More than 3000 artists of all nationalities participate every year in this great event. Among the 80 illustrators selected this year by an international jury, the Italian Institute of Culture in Paris exhibits the works of Italian artists. The exhibition, “Views on Contemporary Italian Illustration” will be inaugurated Wednesday, May 16th. Xavier Pangaud, Professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and Elena Pasoli, Director of the fair, will present these talented young artists, and will retrace the trends of the 55th edition that took place from March 26th to 29th, 2018. The exhibition will be open until June 6th, 2018.
