Sofia. The 15th Italian Festival in Bulgaria is the traditional event dedicated to Italy and its extraordinary cultural and entrepreneurial offer. It takes place every year in May and June in Sofia and other cities in Bulgaria. This year’s edition (June 15th – 27th) coincides with the end of the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council and therefore assumes particular relevance for “Made in Italy” and for its natural European vocation. The festival comprises of events, exhibitions, initiatives in music, art, cinema, literature, sports, fashion, and technology. The proposed initiatives are fruit of the efforts of the Italian Network in Bulgaria: the Embassy, the ICE Agency, the Italian Institute of Culture, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Confindustria.
