The “Made in Italy Exhibition” is on display until September 23rd at the Tassenmuseum Hendrikje in Amsterdam where it will be possible to discover what makes Italian style so special through clothes, shoes, and accessories of unsurpassable Italian designers such as Prada, Gucci, and Dolce & Gabbana. The creations on display have mostly been worn by celebrities such as Sophia Loren, Barbra Streisand, and Lady Gaga. The exhibition was organised by the Tassenmuseum in collaboration with Italian collector, Giorgio Forni from the Sartirana Arte della Lomellina Foundation (Pavia), and the Italian Institute of Culture for the Netherlands in Amsterdam. Giorgio Forni’s well-known collection consists of hundreds of garment and accessories – mostly worn by celebrities – by designers such as Emilio Pucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, and Gianni Versace.
