Los Angeles. The meeting “Pininfarina: Art, Culture, Design” will be held on October 16th at 18:30 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles. Silvio Pietro Angori, CEO and Managing Director of Pininfarina SpA., will talk about the evolution of the iconic Italian brand that combines art, design, culture and entrepreneurship ‘. Angori will also speak of the literary journal “L’indice dei Libri del Mese” (Index of Books of the Month) – an Italian monthly journal on cultural information over which he presides. On this occasion, Silvio Angori, awarded numerous international awards, the most recent one being the 2018 Eurostar award from the prestigious Automotive News Europe sector, will also receive the IIC Los Angeles Creativity Award for his role as ambassador of Italian culture and excellence in the world. The recognition consists of an original work in nylon thread and plexiglass created especially for the Institute by Emilio Cavallini, an internationally renowned artist and stylist, upon the inspiration of the ceiling of the Pantheon in Rome. The event was organised for the first edition of the Contemporary Art Day (8-13 October) and at the opening of the Italian Language Week in the world (15-20 October) in Los Angeles.
