Moscow – The presentation of the Italian edition of the book by Evghenij Primakov – former Foreign Minister and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – “A world without Russia? The Consequences of Political Myopia” was held on Monday November 26th in Villa Berg (Moscow). According to the Italian Embassy in Moscow, the event has provided a valuable opportunity for reflection on the political action of a central figure in recent Russian history. Precisely because of Primakov’s resoluteness and despite the economic difficulties, the Russian Federation which rose from the ashes of the Soviet Union, has gradually returned to play a fundamental role on the international scene. The Italian Ambassador in Moscow, Pasquale Terracciano, stated during his introductory speech that “Primakov’s analyses represent a contribution of considerable interest and of fundamental help to understanding complex events” in the contemporary history of the Federation.
