Basel, Dec. 14 – On the occasion of the 3rd Week of Italian Cuisine in the world, conceived by the General Direction for the Promotion of the Italian Network of the Foreign Ministry, the Italian Consulate in Basel promoted a campaign to raise awareness on the beneficial qualities of extra virgin olive oil – the main element of the Mediterranean diet – publishing among other things, a popular booklet titled “The Divine Tree”. The digital version of the brochure, edited by Cav. Gian Carlo Roberti, in collaboration with Consul Camerota and with the involvement of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland (CCIS), which provided a useful appendix with statistical data on distribution and consumption of oil in Switzerland, can be downloaded on the site of the Consulate.
