Warsaw – The President of Fratelli d’Italia, Giorgia Meloni, is in Warsaw today for a bilateral meeting with Jarosław Kaczyński, President of the PiS (Law and Justice). The summit between the two leaders will be private. Giorgia Meloni will hold a press conference at 15:30, at the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel (Plac Artura Zawiszy 1). The meeting between the President of FDI and the head of the Polish government party and the main protagonists of the Visegrad Group strengthens the role of the “Fratelli d’Italia” (Italian Brothers) at the European and International level, following the adhesion of FDI to the ECR (European Conservatives and Reformists Group), ACRE, and the intervention of Giorgia Meloni from CPAC 2019 in Washington after that of US president, Donald Trump. The meeting, which will also be attended by the president and vice president of ECR, Group Ryszard Legutko and Raffaele Fitto, consolidates a path of collaboration and political sharing between FDI and PiS, which make up part of the conservative family in Europe. This represents a strategic and fundamental alliance that strengthens the political project of the party led by Giorgia Meloni and which aims to achieve an excellent result in the European elections on May 26th, giving the Conservative group a central role in future European arrangements to launch a deep and total change.
