(10 Feb) – The touring exhibition “Journey into Fragility” stops in Ghana until February 24th, in the village of Abtenim. conceived by Maria Rebecca Ballestra and inspired by the “Carta di Arenzano per la Terra e per L’uomo”, the event will be held at the International Land Art Workshop 2012 and is organized by Luce Bochicchio and Nka Foundation. 12 different activities (installations, videos, community projects and site-specific interventions) in 12 countries across the world scattered on the five continents, with the purpose to dialogue on the environment issue and the value of life on Earth and – at the same time – to improve the health of our planet. Each stop will involve a different scientific authority and a different curator to plan workshops, conferences and debates. At the end of the project, in January 2013, there will be a great exhibit, parallel to the Venice Biennale of Art: there will be on show all stages of the “Journey into Fragility”, will be discussed the results achieved country by country, proposed new solutions and evaluate future opportunities.
