The company from Verona will be present for its first time at Ecobuild 2012 (in London, form March 20 to 22), the world’s largest exhibition for sustainable design, construction and the built environment and the greatest construction events in the UK. The presence of Santa Margherita at Ecobuild “is the natural consequence of the recent collaboration and partnership with Sbid (the Society of British interior design), reference organization for English interior designers”, the company said in a statement. Inside the Italian pavilion, the company will propose two exclusive lines: “Second.Life” and the newborn “Eco.mmunity”, an eco-compatible and sustainable line designed specifically for the U.S. market and so far only available for projects overseas. “Eco.mmunity” – the company said – is the result of a process that uses a high percentage of recycled materials and technologies with minimal impact on the environment, creating a line of products specifically designed for the public buildings sector (schools, universities, hospitals, libraries, theaters, courts, police stations ..), and an innovative solution for flooring, staircases, wall coverings and other solid surfaces. ” (Roc/Peg)
