(Mar. 13) – Celada, leading European company in machine tools sales, expands its market to the Middle East with two contracts of 3 million and 800,000 euros. The contracts cover the provision of thirteen machines for a government company specializing in aerospace and the provision of eight machines for a firm in Dubai specializing in airport logistics. After 70 years of experience in Italy, Celada started to export its know-how and pre/post sales services in 2008: a choice that gives the group the opportunity to face the Italian market slowdown: “Actually we are In France with six companies (with an 8 million euros turnover in 2011), Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Middle East, with 70 of our 330 employees operating out of Italy – Guido Celada, chairman of the company, says -. Exporting represents 12% of our turnover, and is expected to grow significantly.” With the goal of an increasingly strong presence in the global market, Celada continues its program of systematic investments in the acquisition of foreign companies and opening new international showrooms, where customers can test products and services.
