(Apr. 9) – Devon & Devon, Italian company specialised in bathroom interior design, carries on its international retail development plan by opening its first flagship store in Chengdu, the capital of the Chinese region of Sichuan, one of the oldest and most populated Chinese cities. Devon & Devon moved its first steps in China in 2008, when the brand opened two franchise stores in Shanghai and Beijing. In recent years, the Tuscan brand greatly increased its share of exports in Chinese market. The new store, located at Fusen Shopping Mall, was built according to Devon & Devon’s concept.
“This new shop represents the strengthening of brand’s development strategies in Chinese market,” said Gianni Tanini, president and CEO of Devon & Devon. With this opening, the franchisee flagship stores managed by Devon & Devon are twelve; this political made up of new openings has significantly contributed to increase the 2011 turnover. (Peg)
