(Apr. 12) – Liguria’s flowers lands in Ukraine at the Flowers & Hortech Fair of Kiev, thanks to the efforts of the Region of Liguria, to leaders of public institutions, districts and floriculture markets of France, Spain and Greece, the Regional Institute for Floriculture of Sanremo and the nurseries of Western Liguria. The Italian presence in the event is funded by the European Union and coordinated by Liguria International, that promotes the region in foreign markets. Thanks to the contribution of the Institute of International Trade in Kiev, a series of meetings are scheduled between local operators and Ligurian representatives . “We expect a good result from our participation in Kiev,” says Giovanni Barbagallo, regional councillor for agriculture “like in Warsaw last March. In May, international operators will visit our region, as the ending of a European tour about plant and flower growing industry.” (Ram/Peg)
