(May 8) – 9REN Group, leading Italian renewable energy company, has signed contracts to deliver three rooftop PV projects in Israel totaling 4.5MW. The projects will be developed with FK Generators, Israel’s largest diesel generator manufacturer and cost an estimated 11 million euros. The three projects, which will use an estimated 20,000 polycrystalline silicon modules, will be installed on warehouse rooftops in the South, Centre and North of the country. 9REN, which owns 100MW of projects in Spain and Italy, has recently focused on expansion into developing solar markets outside of Israel, particularly in Eastern European countries and in the MENA region.
