(Jun. 8th) – Not just art and culture, but also enterprises, research, excellence and quality products. Yesterday, Italian capital city and the region of Lazio were protagonists of the third stage of “Rome is More” in Mexico City. The event was the occasion to show Rome in all its faces to Mexican buyers and tour operators. “The city of Rome,” said Giancarlo Cremonesi, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, “will be able to offer a rich schedule of cultural initiative. The entrepreneurial sector of our city is able to offer the highest quality of products, and I’m thinking about wine and food, fashion and jewelry.” Sabina DOP Olive Oil and Vino dei Castelli Romani were also involved in a tasting just before the dinner made by products from the region. The evening had as soundtrack the music of the Maestro Luca Ruggiero Jacovella and violinist Olen Cesari. During the event, hosted by Simona Rodano, the two musicians performed themes from great Italian composers, such as Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota and Armando Trovajoli. The event was organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico and the Gruppo Meet with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome. Next and final stage of “Rome is more” will be on July 19 in Toronto, Canada. (Red)
