The exhibition intends to present to an international audience the best of Apulian contemporary artistic heritage and thereby increase its visibility to international media, so building a valuable network of relations in the art world. “‘Home, my Place in the World’ comes from the knowledge that in today’s world the concepts of identity and nomadism have been redefined as a result of great movements of individuals or large groups from one place to another planet,” says Angelo Iudice, who organized the event. “Identity is something everyone has impressed in his heart and his mind, a mixture of places, people, relationships, habits, customs that remains even when you leave your homeland. Something that always emerges even when you think you have forgotten it.” Elena Gentile, Councillor for Welfare and Puglia in the world, states: “This exhibition of Apulian artists will reveal how we are changing and how the spirit of global belonging is growing strong in many of us.” (Red)
