(Jul. 23) – After a show in Beijing in 2008, in the Forbidden City, together with the China Philharmonic Orchestra, Giovanni Allevi will play during another Olympic Games. On August 9th, in fact, the Italian pianist and composer will perform at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in the heart of the City. Allevi is awaited from the Italian athletes who will participate in the upcoming Olympic Games. Music and sports: two disciplines that have many points in common: “Music asks absolute dedication and continuous. And for her you are ready to make sacrifices . It is nourished by passion and constant pursuit of perfection. Elements that I fully share with the athletes.” In Italy there will be very few opportunities to attend a concert of Allevi. Before the show in London, the only two concerts of the summer will be in Tuscany, on July 25th and 26th, in San Miniato (Pisa) and Marina di Pietrasanta (Lucca). (Red)
