(Sept. 12) – Sea jewels made in Puglia land at the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes, prestigious international event, ongoing in the French city until September 16. The Italia region participates in the
Festival together with 9 companies and the productive district of the yachting sector. It is a unique opportunity to put on show the latest boats, in the Vieux Port, and the second hand ones, in the Port Pierre Canto, for a total number of 450 exhibitors from 34 countries. Apulian companies will bring to Cannes catamarans, pleasure boats in fiberglass, interior design, air conditioning for boats, easels and reservoirs, rod holders, services, shipbuilding and chemical products for the marine industry. The participation in the event is strongly wanted by the Regione Puglia and is organized with the operational support of the Sprint Puglia, the regional desk for the internationalization of enterprises. “The yachting sector is an industry full of opportunities and with a unique potential,” said the Vice President and Councillor for Economic Development Loredana Capone. “Puglia has in fact more than 800 km of coastline, resorts full of charm and culinary tradition among the most popular in the world.
