Oct. 15 – “Suoni Italian di Ieri e di Oggi” is a new series of events, organized by the Italian Cultural Instute of Budapest, that will take place on October 29th in the Giuseppe Verdi Hall of the Institute. The Roma Sinfonietta orchestra will open the ceremony with a concert dedicated to Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone. The aim of the young festival is to propose a journey within Italian music, from the most historic pieces to the more contemporary ones, passing by classical, pop and jazz trends. The event will promote, each year, a different cycle of concerts, with Italian and foreign performing artists, to feed the growing international interest for Italian music, contemporary in particular.
