Oct. 23 – An entrepreneurial delegation from Iraq is currently participating in the Unido organized tour for paper industries. The initiative, supported by Lucca Promos and the Italian Association for Graphic Industry, Paper-technique, Paper-production and Transformation Constructors (Acimga), aims at reestablishing the paper production industry of Basra, in Iraq. Indeed, the sector has undergone serious hardships due to the current conflict in the country – and it is within this peculiar context that the Iraqi delegates will meet their European counterparts and other important industries in the sector. The Iraqis will thus have the possibility to propose partnership projects and get acquainted with vanguard technologies to modernize their plants.
