Oct. 24 – The best of Made in Italy contracts met yesterday in Beirut with their Lebanese counterparts, over 1500 operators, including purchasers, developers, design offices, and general contractors. The business initiative was held as the Four Roses Hotel and was organized by the Agency for the promotion and internationalization of Italian firms (ICE) as part of the Contract Project, developed by the Ministry of Economic Development. The aim is to match the success of the 2011 edition, when numerous Italian firms were able to enter the Lebanese and Middle Eastern market for the first time. This year, 12 Italian companies flew to Beirut to show their goods and services – mainly in the fields of interior design, ceramics, indoor stairs, illumination and engineering services.
