Oct. 25 – Mondo TV sealed the deal with Abu Dhabi’s state TV to sell some of its traditional Library products. Abu Dhabi’s state TV is broadcast in all the Middle East, with an audience base of 30 million. This is the first sealed partnership for Mondo TV with Abu Dhabi’s state TV, even though there have already been contacts between the Emirates and the Italian company. Indeed, Turner product sales were announced last January 12, while the first co-production with Dubai was announced last September 19. The new joint venture, however, consolidates Mondo TV’s presence in the region, opening more and more partnership possibilities for the future.
