Dec. 24 – Italy will participate in FILMART, the International Film & TV Market, which will be held in Hong Kong. The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade will be in charge of organizing Italy’s participation in the event, scheduled from 18 to 21 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Currently in its 17th edition, the fair is the main platform for the Asian film, television, cross-media and entertainment industry. ICE thus aims to open this market to the Italian film and audiovisual products, and hence increase the attraction for foreign productions and co-productions with Italy.
Indeed, China is a country that, in the last decade, has gradually increased imports of foreign films and television programs while maintaining a quota system of censorship and restricted access.
