Dec. 31 – Spielo International Canada, a subsidiary of the Lottomatica Group, signed a few days ago a seven-year contract with Atlantic Lottery for the provision of the central system, “Intelligen,” for the management of video lotteries. The contract, signed after the standard tender procedure, could be extended beyond the seven years by agreement between the parties. To sign this contract, Spielo International Canada had to win all 11 competitive bids made in Canada for the replacement cycle of VLT, periodically renovated by the provinces to change and modernize the gaming machines and managing systems of the network. In recent years Spielo International Canada has signed contracts with customers in eight provinces for the supply of various products and services. With over twenty years of experience in the central systems, Intelligen provides a custom-made method for managing controls, stable and secure, that addresses both the distribution market and the specialized gaming rooms. The system can also interact with a wide range of VLTs by using multiple protocols; finally, it was the first product to be certified by the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) in the Game to System category.
