Jan. 4 – Italian companies, with the support of ICE, will not miss the opportunity to participate in the 17th edition of Addis Chamber International Trade Fair (Acitf), the international fair organized annually by the Chamber of Commerce of Addis Ababa, to be held in the Ethiopian capital between February 21 to 27, 2013. Acitf is a multi-sector trade fair, considered the main exhibition in the country and the Horn of Africa by number of exhibitors and visitors. Last year’s edition involved more than 300 exhibitors from 30 countries and 20,000 overall participants. This year’s edition will be centered on the theme “Private Public Consultation for Development.” As Ethiopia is one of the fastest growing economies in Sub-Saharan Africa (+5% estimates for 2012), Italian exports are growing, for over €200 million in value for 2011.
