Jan. 7 – ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian firms, is organizing the participation of a series of Italian jewelry firms (gathered in a collective) to the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, which will be held March 5 to 9. The fair, visited by buyers from all over the world, is the most important international exhibition for the jewelry industry. In fact, Hong Kong continues to develop, for the gold sector, at an accelerated pace, considering the intense exchange activities that local actors play in the Asia-Pacific region, providing jewelry products not only to China but also in neighboring Asian countries. ICE has thus been organizing the Italian participation since 2005. “Being once again present in Hong Kong – said ICE in a statement – allows small and medium-sized Italian companies to enter the Chinese market, using the distribution networks in Hong Kong (stores, importers and wholesalers licensed to operate in China) and by taking advantage of the demand in the local market.”
