Mar. 11 – Save the date! From March 28th to March 30th, the Dance Salad Festival will host the Italian “Spellbound Contemporary Ballet.” The company, based in Rome, returns to the Dance Salad Festival with a new choreography by Mauro Astolfi, founder and Artistic Director of the company, who will also present the excerpts of “Dangerous Liaisons” and “How To Pray.” Mauro Astolfi describes his work: “‘Dangerous Liaisons’ is a risky title, as it evokes Choderlos de Laclos’ masterpiece and triggers a sort of immediate expectation that there will be licentious and intriguing characters, libertines following their need for violent and passionate love.” Part of a strong and unmistakable stylistic school, and composed of the most promising dancers of their generation, Spellbound is one of the most competitive Italian proposals at the international level. It continuously offers the public a large vocabulary and endless experimentation, convincing audiences of major festivals in Italy, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Belarus, Germany, Austria, France and Thailand.
