Mar. 22 – From March 24 to 26 the city of Düsseldorf is home to the 2013 edition of “Prowein”, one of the leading European wine fairs dedicated to the “experts”. More than 4,500 exhibitors are expected to join the event, and over 40,000 visitors; with the addition of two extra pavilions, the fair can now host more than 500 new exhibitors. Trentino is participating with 17 companies in an area of 312m2 set up and managed through collaboration between Consortium Wines of Trentino and Tourism Division Promotion and Development of Trentino. Among the initiatives, there are four planned tasting sessions with two German journalists in the field, Richard Grosche and Jeans Priewe, and a happy hour session reserved for importers, buyers and journalists, who will meet the producers directly. Each day, a sommelier will propose “flying tastings” and stories of the area featuring the wines testimonial. Prowein’s high quality is guaranteed by the exclusive participation of professionals, buyers, press and critics, making it the place par excellence where lay the foundations for new partnerships, strengthen synergies, set contracts, and attend authoritative and comprehensive showcases.
