Apr. 5 – Buenos Aires hosts the days of the CUIA, the Italian University Consortium for Latin America. The goal of the initiative, which will be held April 18 – 30, is to promote the already consolidated partnership between Italy and Argentina, looking for new collaborations in research projecys. The event is organized by the Consortium with the support of the Embassy in Buenos Aires and the Italian Institute of Culture. The Days 2013 follow the 2012 scheme, with sessions devoted to presenting the CUIA higher education institutions (Cultural Heritage, European Studies and Regional Integration, Science and Technology, Biosciences and Biotechnology), which will be presented alongside the Italo-Argentine inter-university activities co-financed by the Consortium. Confirming the excellent collaboration between Italian and Argentine teachers and researchers, both the Italian and local partner networks will participate in the event. In addition, there are several info days scheduled, during the course of which materials about the programs of the Consortium and general information on the possibilities of co-financing offers will be distributed. A new element of the 2013 is the “calls for proposals,” specific offers for each Cuia School through which interested parties are able to participate by sending their application for membership.
