May 23 – The delights of Italian cuisine and gastronomy go to Spain for the Italian Cultural Week. Held between May 25 – 31 in Torrelodones (about 30km from Madrid), it is an initiative for the promotion of culture, gastronomy and tourism of Italy. In this event, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Spain will organize a series of initiatives with the aim of promoting products and recipes of some Italian regions. In particular, the Chamber of Commerce has scheduled two initiatives: the first will be a wine tasting from Calabria and Spain, which will be held May 27 in the presence of one of the leading experts of Italian wines in Spain; the second initiative will be held on May 29 and it will be a day dedicated to Italian cuisine. It will host recipe and dishes labs, cooking shows with Italian chefs and experts, and a presentation of the main regional food products, including those in the province of Cosenza, marketed in Spain with the brand “E’ Cosenza.”
