May 27 – After New York in mid-May, Trentino wines land Zurich. From today until June 1, six Trentino manufacturers (Gaierhof, Endrizzi, Cantina Rotaliana, Cavit, Group Nosio – Mezzacorona / Rothari, F.lli Ferrari Lunelli) will be in Switzerland’s biggest city for an important moment of brand promotion, organized by Consorzio Vini, Italian Wine Union and Trentino Development – Tourism and Promotion in collaboration with the Department for Internationalization of the Autonomous Province of Trento. The project includes seminars, tastings and direct promotion in some areas of the city. It starts today at 3pm, at the Metropol Restaurant, with a seminar conducted by Christian Eder and sommelier Roberto Anesi on “Chardonnay, Müller Thurgau or Nosiola – mineral white wines from the heart of the Dolomites.” At 5pm, the second seminar will focus on “Teroldego, Marzemino, Pinot noir and co. – The great red wines of Trentino.” Both events will begin by presenting classical Trentino method, with “Trentodoc: when the classical method was born in the mountains.” All day, until 8pm, there will be a “Walk Around Tasting” featuring the wines from Trentino. The following day, at the restaurant “Jade”, “Trentino: Wine & Lunch” will present a promotional video on the province and its summer offer to opinion leaders, specialized members of the press, and tour operators.
