June 10 – For the first time, Piedmont is one of the protagonists of Tech Textil, the most important European fair for the technical textile sector, held every two years in Frankfurt. Within this framework, Unioncamere Piemonte promotes a series of bilateral meetings between companies in the Fashion & Textile Sector Group of the Enterprise Europe Network, the largest European Commission funded network to support entrepreneurial activity and the growth of small and medium-sized companies. The brokerage event will see 8 Biella companies meet foreign companies of interest to them (more than 110 from 13 EU and non-EU countries, including Canada and Turkey) in more than 60 scheduled meetings. Piedmont’s presence at the Tech Textil is organized in collaboration with the Industrial Union of Biella, and is part of Piedmont Textile Excellence, an integrated project designed to assist clothing, furniture, technology and machinery companies. The project is managed by the Foreign Internationalization of Piedmont (Piemonte Agency) on behalf of the Piedmont Region and the Chambers of Commerce of Biella, Vercelli and Turin.
