June 25 – Friuli Venezia Giulia has for years been engaged in activities with fellow countrymen abroad, which in Argentina resulted in several cooperation projects. The Province of Santa Fe and the municipality of Avellaneda are mainly concerned with the development of an irrigation system and launch a process for the collection of municipal waste. The first project, called “ODIrS”, for the optimal development of irrigation systems, is funded by Regional law 19 of 2000. It came to an end with excellent results, presented by the President of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Franco Iacop, in a conference held in recent days. During the numerous meetings with local authorities led by the Mayor of Avellaneda, Dionisio Scarpin, the funding of €12 million granted from international bodies to the Italian region were discussed, in addition to the involvement of a FVG business system for the construction of hydraulic structures and technology.
