July 3 – Italian creativity finds a home in the London “House of Peroni.” Portland Place will host for the month of July an artist residency that brings together young talents and established names in the design sector, all invited by Peroni, to present their innovative work. Architect Andrea Morgante, co-designer of the Ferrari Museum in Modena, the designer duo Forma Fantasma, Carlo Bernardini, who will be showcasing his futuristic light installations, designer Giovanni Alessi Anghini, renowned minimalist designer Piero Lissoni, and Carlo Brandelli will all be present. And they will be accompanied by the young Italian symbol of the country’s new creativity wave: Ludovica Gioscia, Giacomo Lion and Martino Gamper. The month of July will hence be filled with a number of events, offering the opportunity to meet the artists involved. In addition, “House of Peroni” on its site www.thehouseofperoni.com activated a permanent window offering a sneak peek into the realm of Italian fashion, design, art and cuisine. The artistic residency is only the first of a series of projects that will be carried out by an artistic board that includes Andrea Morgante and Giovanni Alessi Anghini.
