(Jul. 12) – The Chamber of Commerce of Rome supports the third edition of Moviemov Italian Film Festival. The project, created in partnership with the Ministry of Culture – Directorate General of Cinema and the Italian Embassy in Thailand, aims to build a “common platform” for the promotion of new Italian cinema abroad, particularly in the Asian markets, and, at the same time, to enhance the Thai culture in Italy. After the success of the last edition, even this year the MIFF will make a stop in Bangkok, from July 24th to 28th. To compare the current production with the historical one and with the works of the great masters of cinema, this edition will be dedicated to one of the fathers of the Italian comedy: Ettore Scola. There will be also space for the section New Wave Thai, which aims to give light to different genres and authors from the Thai cinema. The genre chosen this year is the horror-movie. Through its investment in the Festival, the Chamber of Commerce of Rome plans to help and support a manufacturing sector which is strategic for the development of the capital city and the whole country.
