July 17 – “Danzare” is the Italian summer hit that is monopolizing radios and TVs in Germany and received flattering comments from the newspaper Bild. Produced by Goar B, also producer for Lou Bega with “Mambo No. 5,” Danzare is performed by Vito Lavita 22-year-old Italian who has lived in Bamberg since the age of 3. The song, after making Germany dance, is now reaching the Italian coast, and on June 19 the song will be launched on the radio, while the iTunes EP is already available. With a carefree rhythm and a catchy chorus, Danzare is a festive and summer song: its peculiarity lies in the mixture of Latin American sounds, the classic “Italian” song and reggae influence, brought on by Toni Tuklan’s participation. Vito Lavita is originally from Stigliano, an Italian town of 4,590 inhabitants in the province of Matera, in Basilicata.
