(Sept. 2) – One never ceases to amaze since 1980, the other since 1957: from there, everything has changed – design, size, engine, technology – but not names: Panda and 500 . This reflects the will of Fiat to revive the splendor of a glorious past, but in the name of innovation. At the Frankfurt Motor Show the story continues, and the Turin-based company will present to the international press the new Panda 4×4 Antarctic, a limited edition car celebrating 30 years of the Panda 4×4 (more than 400,000 units sold, three generations and several special series) and three new engines for the 500 family: the 0.9 TwinAir Easy 105HP (a debut on 500 models) and two engines, 1.6 Multijet 120 bhp and 1.4 T-Jet petrol 120 bhp (for the models 500L, 500L Trekking and Fiat 500L Living). Spotlights on the 500 GQ, presented for the very first time in a cabrio version, and on the Fiat 500e, the zero-emission electric version on for the Californian market. At the Frankfurt Motor Show there will be also the exclusive version of Black Code Freemont, top of the gamma for the Fiat crossover style. The 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show, now at its 65th edition, will be held from September 12th to 22nd. The festival takes place every other year in September, alternately with the Paris Motor Show since the 70s. (red)
