Sept. 4 –A steady flow of white wine on Aeroflot flights is now guaranteed thanks to a partnership between the Russian airline and the Umbria company Lungarotti. The two signed a new agreement, with the Rubesco red wine as forerunner of the liaison, that will last for the next two years. Brezza, a young white wine made from Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Grechetto, is produced in 400 thousand bottles each year. For the director of the company, Chiara Lungarotti, “the wine partnership with a leading Russian domestic carrier is doubly strategic because of its business effect. Given the high number of routes, it will allow us to be present in critical target areas to the international development of the group. Last year, our market in Russia grew by 100%: for the near future we focus on brand awareness in neighboring areas, by virtue of the recent Eurasian Union, which includes Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.” Lungarotti will be wine partner of the Eurasian Forum of Verona next October.
