(Oct. 14) – From October 18th to 21st Enoteca Italian will participate at Megavino, the Belgian event dedicated to the world of wine held in Brussels. “A constant commitment to accompany our member companies,” said Alexander Mugnaioli, export manager of Enoteca Italiana, “in overseas markets, a practical support made of information and promotion of Made in Italy. If China is considered an emerging market, Europe remains the main one”. Twenty-five labels will have the opportunity to meet wine-business operators with particular reference to the Dutch market. Megavino attracts 21,000 visitors in a pavilion that hosts 400 exhibitors from 25 countries, and represents a unique opportunity for Italian wineries aiming to enter the market of the Netherlands or expand their presence. The wine has established itself as the main product for the export of made in Italy products, with a 10% increase in the first three months of 2013. Of the 1,109 million euros of wine exports, 51.3% (574 million euros) is directed towards the European Union, and in particular in the Netherlands there has been a growth of about 6-7%. Enoteca Italiana, a public institution unique in Italy, was founded in 1960 as an operational organ of the Ente Mostra Mercato Nazionale. It aims to raise awareness, enhance and promote great Italian wines and the nation wine scene. In its HQ in Siena are exposed, in a permanent exhibition, more than 1,500 wines produced by over 600 companies, strictly included by a Selection Committee. (red)
