Oct. 25 – The Sassi of Matera and its cuisine will be the stars of the British TV show “Gino’s Italian Escape,” airing on ITV. The latest episode of the show directed by the Italian chef is set in the “Il terrazzino” restaurant of Matera and will air tonight at 9pm. After stopping in major cities of Italy’s South to explore their lifestyle and traditions, Gino arrived in June in Matera. And after a brief chat at the table, the restaurant opened its kitchens to Gino’s talent. After Matera, Gino went to the nearby Puglia, to end his Italian tour.
