Nov. 20 – “Mets – Marine Equipment Trade Show” is the European exhibition dedicated to equipment, materials, accessories, systems and services related to the maritime industry. The fair began yesterday and will end on Thursday in Amsterdam. In its 26th edition, the exhibition welcomes this year Puglia’s participation and its individual stand. Thanks to its international importance and unique offer, METS boases about 1,300 exhibitors in 15 halls. The event will is an important platform for the 12 Puglia companies present at the event, offering significant opportunities for business meetings. “With Mets – said Loredana Capone, Regional Councilor for Economic Development of Puglia – the participation of Puglia companies continues in international events such as the recent Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes. These moments – she adds – are strategic to promote our regional experience abroad and raise awareness regarding our water system. The Region supports companies in these events and seeks to open trade channels at the international level by establishing lasting economic partnerships in this sector, in which Puglia has huge potential.” Puglia’s participation is part of the promotional program for the internationalization of local production systems in the 2013-2014 period, and is maintained by the Department of International Affairs of the Region of Puglia, with the operational support of Sprint Puglia (the regional office for the internationalization of firms).
