Dec. 12 – When he first tried for Masterchef U.S. judges realized his potential and invited him to come back the following year, better prepared and more combative. And that is how the Friulian Luke Manfè re- charged and managied to beat all his opponents and win the 2013 final of the world’s most famous kitchen. And now is the time to celebrate in his beloved Italy with an elegant dinner and a rock’n’roll party that will be held on December 21 in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The cook, a resident of New York for ten years and manager of a restaurant, will star in an event organized ad hoc in the Fossa Mala Restaurant in Fiume Veneto, in the province of Pordenone, where Manfè will prepare the dishes with which he convinced the inflexible Joe Bastianich, Graham Elliot and Gordon Ramsey to name him Chef of the Year. The Great Complotto Radio, a radio for Italians abroad, organized the event in conjunction with the Fossa Mala restaurant, and will handle the big party that will follow the dinner.
